Sites a little slow

Just want to say that the site seems a little slow most of the time..... It's really the only bad thing about visiting here as it seems like it's on my mind each time I come in...

I think it could be faster despite the size of the community....

Don't take it as a complaint, just a suggestion so you know what the members are thinking....

Sometimes it's slow, but most of the time, I can visit this forum at a decent speed.

Yeah, I have the same problem when I view the site using Firefox (painfully slow). The pages load much faster for me in IE for some reason... Not sure if that helps, but if you're using Firefox, you might try IE.

Yeah I've been noticing this too. Loads slow sometimes, although still fine with FF

The DNForum's server(s) seem way underpowered ... forums very slow all the time.

DNF is losing a lot of traffic because of that - NP, despite being much larger, loads fast.

Seems like many others are experiencing the slowness too.... It's the one bad thing about visiting, but I'll admit, it doesn't cause me to stop visiting, but just visit a little less often, especially when I am rushing around and need to move fast....

Looking into it and ordered new servers to do a clean install very very soon.

what do you mean a clean install- is everything getting wiped? pms and such?

As far as we have been informed, the clean install is for the plugins and hacks and NOT the data.

I almost always get a good speed with firefox. Never a problem.

Seems okay to me... I'm using IE 7.

At some points it is slow which we are working on resolving. With the new server there should be a huge speed increase.
