Register Today on DNForum IT'S FREE!I've noticed that with almost all of the domains listed in the "Domains with Traffic" section are usually those that were picked up by people lucky enough to aquire dropped domains which were previously sites. Not all of us however are lucky to have one of these in order to list on that section - as most domains don't ge 30 uniques day simply off a parked page.
Especially in the case of GoDaddy parked pages which offer the worst SEO'd landing pages, revenue and click-tru performance/payout. However, I have many premium and keyword domains that have good enough traffic for a buyer to find it much more appealing - and I now know that most of the traffic is pure type ins as I have redirected all my domains to custom ppc landing pages (which are for the time being performing much better than any parking I've used) and offer better insight as to where traffic is coming from. Which also confirms my (industry held) belief that GD offers the worst SEO parking pages, which is why so little people in the traffic domains section have GD stats - and since I've decided not to use any parking programs for the time being, but would like to offer up some of my domains that still have good enough traffic and/or revenue stats to spark buyers interests and support the sale price. In this case I can show with my GD stats that if the domain is moved to a better paying and SEO'd parking provider the domain would perform significantly better as all my traffic is type-ins.
So I request the creation of a new forum for Domains with Revenue/Traffic where user can provide stats that may not qualify for the 30 daily uniques requirement.
Also at issue with these "used to be sites" traffic domain offerings is that they pose potential "pump n dump" senarios where the traffic/revenue/stats may be there for a period after the site's domain is parked - but as it slowly falls out of favor with search engines that held its page's content keywords and become cached/updated with the new parked page - the revenue/traffic will drop significantly and may completely die out soon after the domain has been sold based on traffic stats.
It would almost be wiser to buy domains that have natural type in favour as they provide a better base to judge value of further development or more informed resell price.
Any ideas?
Thanks for reading, Cheers!

Hi
There is already such a section, it's called "offers wanted" or "fixed price" section.
there you can post those names and include the gd stats.
for you to post them in the traffic section, and then give a scenerio such as:
that statement you made is a theory, and buyers who go to the traffic section expect for names posted there to "meet" the requirements as is.In this case I can show with my GD stats that if the domain is moved to a better paying and SEO'd parking provider the domain would perform significantly better as all my traffic is type-ins.
this is why most of them that meet the requirements, (and some that are subpar) get sold quickly.
now i can't blame you for wanting to post your subpar names there, but as is, we already have many threads there that don't meet the requirements, but slide by when they are snappped or we close them.
i would suggest you move them to another mainstream ppc service first and gather your stats. you need to insure that you get full value, based on those stats, (if your're selling based on rev multiples), rather than leaving them at GD and not realizing full rev potential.
in others words, you may be "underselling" if based on gd stats alone.
now...what i would consider an alternative is to add a "or name must make at least $0.50 a day", in addition to the "traffic" requirement.
the original intent of the "Domains With Traffic" section was to have domain names there, that hopefully, based on stats and verification of traffic/rev...will move fast.
the section now has a high volume of transactions and it would be counterproductive to disrupt that model.
imo...

Let's have 2 subforums:
1. Don's domains, and
2. Everything else.
Actually this is good suggestion , I'm visiting Traffic domains section to find domains with revenue ( traffic is less important ) . Sometimes there are many good bank typo's which are making more then 50$ in a month with traffic 5 visits a day.
30visit / day is a limiting factor for such names to get enough exposure
I think rules needed to be changed like this
Either domain should have 30 visits a day or it should generate at least 10$ ( or any other reasonable amount ) in a month
i think even if a domain makes reg fee back in a year - thats interesting to some especially if it has a good name.
