Re: Is support non existent for Domain Retriever?
The quick answer to this is YES. I bought domain retriever last week and all of the lists supposedly available to download from DropLists.net have not worked. An email to support@domain-retriever.com remains unanswered.
Many of the links within the package point to holding pages and banner farms.
I feel like I have been taken for $149.99!
What a rip off!
email sales@dnforum.com and we will handle it for you.

This problem was caused by severe server errors.
It has been addressed. All lists except expired are functional. Expired lists should
be back in working order by tomorrow.
Sorry for the down time, next time send an e-mail to luc@lezon.com.

If only it was that easy. Done that too and you guessed it NO RESPONSE. Who is conning who in this project?
The fact is I bought a software package that does not work as it is supposed to. I have emailed the support email contained within DOMAIN non RETRIEVER without reply after 1 week. I have further come here and posted a message along with creating a support ticket here (as suggested) and emailed sales@dnforum.com .... replies .... ZERO, ZILCH, NADA
I eventually got a reply....
I tried again to use Domain Retriever to retrieve lists from Droplists.net and you guessed it..... the problems are still the same, Droplists.net lists are still empty returning 'Internal Server Errors'WE appoligize for the long delay as we have been upgrading the site.
The site should be fully functional now as there was a server crash.
Please revisit the site and try the functions provided.
Please let me know if you have any issues.
I replied to them to let me know nothing appears to have been fixed and of course am still waiting for a reply.
IT SEEMS TO ME THAT DOMAIN RETRIEVER IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF. Anyone know what action I can take to get my money back from these sharks? Do I have any recourse via PayPal?
It's a complete rip off because DropLists lists don't work? Please read theOriginally Posted by apeks

there is no guarantee that they will be functional (though we try to keep
them functional).
I will be taking a look at DropLists, it's one of the things in the queue, but
probably not until the end of the week. Until then you can use Exody lists,
which are almost identical (due to the process involved in ripping lists from
the zone) to our lists.

If you're going to nitpick, saying that it's only a service of "convenience", then you should include it with all accounts without charging more.
I'm paying more for an account which has really nothing more to offer than the account below it does.
Please respect members, and don't expect to offer less-than-up-to-par service because of technical clauses in your policy documents.
