Is support non existent for Domain Retriever?

I have try signing up for ultrasearch mode for my domain retriever, the automated script to enable ultrasearch on my domain retriever failed stating invalid Reciept ID. But paypal did indeed transfer $15 dollar to domain retriever. I try emailing their paypal email and their email on domainretriever sites with no reply for days. Anyone here know how can I get hold of support for domain retriever? By they way will paypal refund me back the $15 if I tell them that I didn't recieve service as charged?

Re: Is support non existent for Domain Retriever?

The quick answer to this is YES. I bought domain retriever last week and all of the lists supposedly available to download from DropLists.net have not worked. An email to support@domain-retriever.com remains unanswered.

Many of the links within the package point to holding pages and banner farms.

I feel like I have been taken for $149.99!

    What a rip off!

Re: Is support non existent for Domain Retriever?

This problem was caused by severe server errors.

It has been addressed. All lists except expired are functional. Expired lists should
be back in working order by tomorrow.

Sorry for the down time, next time send an e-mail to luc@lezon.com.

"email sales@dnforum.com and we will handle it for you"

If only it was that easy. Done that too and you guessed it NO RESPONSE. Who is conning who in this project?

The fact is I bought a software package that does not work as it is supposed to. I have emailed the support email contained within DOMAIN non RETRIEVER without reply after 1 week. I have further come here and posted a message along with creating a support ticket here (as suggested) and emailed sales@dnforum.com .... replies .... ZERO, ZILCH, NADA

Angry Re: Is support non existent for Domain Retriever?

    I eventually got a reply....

WE appoligize for the long delay as we have been upgrading the site.

The site should be fully functional now as there was a server crash.

Please revisit the site and try the functions provided.

Please let me know if you have any issues.
I tried again to use Domain Retriever to retrieve lists from Droplists.net and you guessed it..... the problems are still the same, Droplists.net lists are still empty returning 'Internal Server Errors'

I replied to them to let me know nothing appears to have been fixed and of course am still waiting for a reply.

IT SEEMS TO ME THAT DOMAIN RETRIEVER IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF. Anyone know what action I can take to get my money back from these sharks? Do I have any recourse via PayPal?

It's a complete rip off because DropLists lists don't work? Please read the
terms of service agreement you AGREED to before pressing the purchase
button. The lists provided are there for your convenience, but
there is no guarantee that they will be functional (though we try to keep
    them functional).

I will be taking a look at DropLists, it's one of the things in the queue, but
probably not until the end of the week. Until then you can use Exody lists,
which are almost identical (due to the process involved in ripping lists from
    the zone) to our lists.

    Luc,

With all due respect -- you (DNForum), should respect prospective customers enough to not misrepresent your membership packages claiming that a certain level of membership includes "free Droplists.net access" if droplists.net does not work -- that's false advertisement -- it's an actual bullet (as if it were a feature of that account).

If you're going to nitpick, saying that it's only a service of "convenience", then you should include it with all accounts without charging more.

I'm paying more for an account which has really nothing more to offer than the account below it does.

Please respect members, and don't expect to offer less-than-up-to-par service because of technical clauses in your policy documents.

    Sincerely,
    Merlin Kauffman

If you are using Domain-Retriever, then you can pull the lists from the
sample place you pull DropLists.net lists (dropdown menu).
