you cant hold it over several days - its a live auction
i think switching the times ensures everyone gets a chance and will even keep the quality of domains high as people may have to wait a week or so to list their domains![]()

Here is my 2 cents worth on the auctions
IMHO changing the auction times helps nobody
Last weeks auction was a complete flop compared to the previous week
There are really only 3 time zones in the world at any one time
Right now it is
midnight to 8am
or
8am to 4pm
or
4pm to midnight
anywhere in the world
It doesn't matter what the date is.
Thanks to greg for ruuning the auctions anyway
No matter which time CST the auction is held, somewhere it is going to be between midnight and 8am.
So you can't please everyone
Would it not be better to pick a time and stick to it?
Or hold it over several days, Ebay style?

It is difficult but to ALWAYS hold it at a time that means the SAME people will have to be up at 2/3am to join the auction is undesireable.
Could there be more than one auction? (Please don't throw things!)
Or could the times be "cycled".
It's obvious that those who are in a reasonable time zone when the auction is held will feel happy to have it at that time, but it is unfortunate for the others, myself included and I spent quite a few $$ last week.

If it's that much of a problem for you, move to a different timezone.
The auction should be held at whatever time produces the MOST attendees.
If that turns out to be 9am Sunday morning, then I won't be in attendance because I'll be curled up in bed.
But that's my problem, not anyone elses. If I want to bid, I'll have to drag myself out of bed early.
Just STOP WHINING!!!!!!
