Titles Cleared in Adult section

What is the purpose of clearing thread titles in adult section (* Adult content) ?
I find it annoying to open each thread just to find out what it's all about...
I thought you had to enter your DOB in profile to get access to Adult area.

Re: Titles Cleared in Adult section

You can just put the cursor over the title to read up, I think its just to stop ppl been offeneded and stop titles coming up in the forum.

Ah OK but it doesn't work for me. I'm using Opera.

Re: Titles Cleared in Adult section

The reason for this is so other members who do not have access to that section can't see the title. Once you open the thread the privacy will go away and you will see the title fine.

A suggestion to the mod's for this would be to do the same check as when a user tries to enter the Adult forums. If the member is allowed to enter an Adult area they should not see the censored title. This should be easy enough to implement

Re: Titles Cleared in Adult section

I guess an even better solution is to have a totally separate AdultDNForum.

Exactly. Or give the chance for those who are old enough to opt out of seeing that forum or just pass protect the forum all together. I stay out of that type of business, always have and I'm grateful DNForum is blocking the topics from being shown. There are a lot of business transactions that go on here. If people want to buy/sell adult themed domains or websites; fine, I'll give them that freedom. But I also enjoy the freedom of the censored topic
