What's the Story With the Live Auction?

Is the live auction officially history now? Listing deadline for Sunday 7/6 is 3pm today. Just checked and only 1 name was listed (a mystery name at that). Thought I would add some to see if it was still working. It let me put in one name - but no more after that. Perhaps I missed an official announcement somewhere? If it is no longer available why is the big banner ad still on the front page?

No announcement made but it's sort of turned into just another "name for sale" site rather than an auction. There's been a bit of discussion about it but no decisions as yet - would be better with an enforced low reserve.
Noticed Ed got 2 names in so don't know if it's perhaps a glitch in the software somewhere - or maybe it's just complaining back

Tried again and got ten in. For some reason a few names get rejected - so I just put different names in.
