btw, will it not be great for the reason been mentioned when a thread is locked?
2 things... a user will not open a new thread to ask / discuss on the reasons unless debatable / disputed and will be systematic for the users browsing / reading the section
On the lock icon, this message can be displayed when listed, and when the thread is open, at the top left...

When John's browsing the forums, bad threads lock themselves up. Not one developer had been able to explain this strange phenomena.
I completely agree.btw, will it not be great for the reason been mentioned when a thread is locked?
