Country: | why does the search function not work? this is not strictly a dnf problem but i notice across the board with all forums.
i was looking for the thread that was recently going about the bogusness of Monikers auction contract,
i search for moniker contract, moniker, Moniker, auction, and no luck producing this thread.
but i have also noticed this on several occasions and in several forums. what is up with forum search boxes? you can type in just the word 'auction' and get only 1 result that was posted about today. i'm pretty positive there are at least a dozen posts from today with the word 'auction' in them.

Country: | Odd, I was just using the search and it worked. I did a quick search for moniker and the first hit was: http://www.dnforum.com/f208/moniker-...ad-297299.html
Check your browser settings, maybe even try cleaning out your cache and check for spyware?
Edit: Using IE 6 here but when I get home I can check w/ FF and IE7.

Country: | vBulletin is generally poor with its search capabilities - probably because complex searches can drastically reduce server performance.

Country: | I noticed the search doesn't work with exact domain searches. If you search for AnyDomain.com, random threads will come up. You have to search for AnyDomain without the tld to find the AnyDomain.com thread.
I noticed there have been some downgrades on the forum recently including search function and pm function...

Country: | I second this, the search function has been goofy for a while now to the point I dont even try anymore. Random threads is right. It was a great resource now it needs fixin. |

Country: | Thanks guys, the search function is very involved, everything from custom modifications at the vb level to the server and database level. I will have this looked into. |
