xx Unread Posts since your last visit.

Not sure if this was brought up before..but this was nice feature until it was changed few weeks ago on what it considers as 'read' or 'unread'.

When you click on the 'unread posts' link and find few interesting posts from the list and click on those posts, they are gone from the 'unread' status before you even blink! When you come back after a few seconds and click on the unread posts link again you will see a new set of posts obviously but it will no longer show the posts that you wanted to read from the previous search just a couple of minutes ago..It assumes that you 'read' those posts already! Unless you go back on the browser or happen to remember where those posts belong to, you can never go back to t hose posts. If you close the browser, it's almost impossible to trace the post.

Originally the system used to assume a particular post as 'unread' until 15 minutes or so, which was cool. But something got changed lately?

So, we need a few minutes of breathing time before the system considers all the posts that we happen to click as 'read'.

Thanks,

I'll have a look and see if we can adjust that.

This is a repeat issue with each vB update. Until there is a new post in a read thread, it disappears from the list of latest threads.

That is true and not sure if there is any time frame type hack to play with.
