You win at auction No You just think that

Very strange auction

Gj0.com is bid up to $5
There were bids for 1,2 (3 I think) and 4
I bid 5
Next bid posible is 8
I win!
Good I think
I look again 30 mins later
Someone else is bidding on the same name
No, I must be mistaken.
So I don't bid.

Results show I was not mistaken and the auction was won by someone else, the 2nd time around, but for the same price

Funny kind of auction
Maybe I dreamt the whole thing

There are obviously problems with the auction script/server, which resulted in the auction being abandoned last week and a number of people being unable to join in this week. Likely the auction had to be re-started, causing your problem but Admin could tell us that. I think that the problems will need to be sorted and stabilised in order to restore confidence in the auction. It is no good for buyer or seller to have the auction not working properly.

Netau, I seem to have won the auction for qgo.com, but so far have not been contacted with email address to pay for it, though I have PMd plugsocket. There was a problem on the auction because I could not get in untill number 46 on the list although I was trying for up to half an hour before, when I did manage to get in the auction kept restarting on names that had allready gone through, I was as confused as you, I seemed to bid on names and win them only to have them appear again and someone else win them, so let's see what the mods say.

net, I noticed the auction "backtracked" .. from what I understand someone had R-I-O-T.US and as soon as the script got to that name...it went haywire because of the "
-" dash.

There is a thread about it some where's..

but yes that would suck if you won and then didnt win because the script screwed up...

I had a problem with the Auction using netscape. I switched to explorer and no probs... So I suggest everyone to use explorer..
