We took gold in the womens, hopefully the men will learn something from that.
I think we should stop using "professionals" and make a real team that will train together. That might prove to have better results like the womens team did, they crushed everyone in their path.
While Canada technically lasted longer than the US (had to get in that dig), both the US and Canada are now goners. I must say the Canadian mens team was extremely disappointing. These guys are professionals that played lackluster hockey with dumb errors and penalties everywhere.

I can't remember either. In last 54 years Canada (men team) has won one Olympic gold medal (that in 2002.) Some record I say.
0 for 8 in penalty plays, three hours of ice-time without the collective ability to score a single goal.

How many games did the American hockey team win again?
Lets see, Canada is the 2 time defending Olympic women's champion, two time defending World Junior champion and defending World Cup Champion.
There are 7 great hockey nations, so even the best hockey country in the world can't win all the events.
sasquatch I dont know where you live, but you seem pretty jealous of our hockey program. Sure, we didn't win this one tournament, but we win just about everything else.
