    Hockey

Does anyone here like hockey or am I the only Canadian in the forums? I personally love hockey my small town even came in 3 for Hockey Ville out of 300 towns but I guess only Canadians would know about hockey ville.

    So hockey fans out there?

    Re: Hockey

I take my son who just turned 4 to skate every Sunday. I played Hockey and my 2 young nephews play.

Also my cousins husband played for the Whalers, Devils, preds, ducks, jets, coyotes, caps.....
    He played for Moose Jaw.
His name is Jim McKenzie. He's retired now.

I go to a few games here and there but since the Whalers moved to Carolina I don't see games as often. I used to go to every home Whalers game I could.
Now I just go to some AHL games on occassion. The Springfield Falcons play their home games about 5 miles from my house.

Glad to see another fan here!

Played hockey for 10 years here in Sweden.. My favourite sport.. Trying to watch as much NHL as possible.. Great hockey, much better then the league in Sweden..

But every hockey fanatic know thats Sweden have the best team and players in the world with a population below 10million we won both the Olympics and the world cup last year.. Pretty amazing i must say.

hmmm... I don't think you can really argue that Sweden has the best players in the world... THE best player in the world right now is Canadian, the reigning NHL MVP is Canadian, etc... and your best player is always injured, which is really too bad...

I agree that Sweden produces a huge number of quality players considering the smallish population. But don't forget, Canada is about 30 million and we still dominate as far as top players playing in the NHL goes...

    Re: Hockey

FYI, hockey fans - I've just put AnaheimDucks[.]info up for sale. Own a great domain for the Stanley Cup champs! (The team uses AnaheimDucks.com.)

    See it here.

P.S. to Keyword Factory - I'm from the Philly area too; still remember Bernie Parent & the parades up Broad Street!

No...Sweden's best player is a stud and an iron man...Niklas Lidstrom plays game in/game out and is the Norris trophy winner (best defensive player) the last 2 years...unfortunately he plays for Detroit

Sweden Schmeden. Canada has dominated the world juniors, world cup and olympics in both mens and womens hockey for the past decade. Canada will clean house in 2010 - it won't even be a contest. Maybe, just maybe the Russians can compete if they find a goalie to match Brodeur or Luongo in the mens game and the Americans should at least make the Canadian women break a sweat.

Oh yeah - Pens 2008 Stanley Cup Champions

Sure thing. Is there any other sport where Canada dominats? Oh... curling!!Don't mention womens hockey, nobody play that except Canada and Sweden.
There are countries where one sport dominated, like hockey in Canada or Football in Brasil, and there are world sport leaders: USA, Germany, Russia, China, South Korea, Australia.
