    UK Boxing

Did anyone else see Audrey Harrison get knocked out, if not then its a must see because he was out cold for a good while.

Must have been disappointing if you bought a ticket, Harrison v Sprout lasted a few rounds and Khan was over almost instantly but the other fight was probably the best ive seen.

Didn't see any of the bouts - can't stand Harrison.

Khan has potential but I worry that his management will try and get him a title by avoiding any quality fighters.

Hunnam, who was in the other fight?

Boxing as a whole went downhill in the late 80's when they brought out all the different belts - now it means nothing to be world champ. There could be 5 world champs walking around in the same division at any one time. To me, the halcion days were the early 80's - Hagler, Leonard, Duran, Hearns et al. Those were real fighters....

    Re: UK Boxing

I dont like Harrison and last night I went off Khan totally because he start giving it the big I am and basically saying things to make his opponent look worse than he is.

The fighters were Michael Katsidis v Graham Earl, Earl's trainer threw the towel in during the 3rd and the ref threw it back. The trainer was the main reason for Earl not coming back out, I felt like he could have won.

If the best the UK has to offer is Williams, Skelton, Harrison and now Sprout then we are done for and for me Boxing will never be the same as the 80's and only Tyson has made it interesting.

    Re: UK Boxing

Defo, he had it all but when the man he considered to be his father died he went off his nut.

An example of his madness is when Tupac died he went on a monday to buy his new album and they said we are unable to sell them until tomorrow and he offered the bloke 1 million $ for 1 album because he wanted to listen to it on the monday.

I doubt Khan will be around much by next year, he has done the bums and will need to take on the talent and he wont last with them.

    Re: UK Boxing

His opponent was supposed to be a better fighter than all the rest but was quicker to dispose of.

Warren was a dodgy bloke reading the McLean book and god knows what is happening with boxing but the secret to keeping Khan at the top earning millions is to keep him fighting nobodys.
