you all love the game so much wouldnt you rather have it every year, i can see the olympics every 4 years the logistics of that is so great, but world competition in a singular sport could be managed quite easily, unless you allready have a competition every year for world champs.

well,you have the continental championships in 2 years...they have to play the preliminaries for both competitions ... good things deserve a little patience

Would you like your birthday if it was every month? Maybe it was funny for 1 or 2 years but then... it's boring.

Same with the World Cup, makes this event something special.

If there was a real International professional baseball or football tournament it would probably be every 4 years too.

There are too many soccer teams internationally to make it sensible to have a world cup every year.
You say it like there is no soccer between world cups. The leagues are just as entertaining to watch as well as the UEFA cup etc.
