Hi,

1, A better idea to publicise is to make several public/community liasions for the forum, they will actively moniter and make this forum more popular.
2, Something more better will be adding external relations with other forums of similar fields like WebHostingTalk,HostHideOut,WebDesignerTalk etc. Requesting them to add your website as an external forum and offering them vice-versa.
3, Last and Best, providing me with 1000 DNF$ so i should talk mouthfull about the forum to everybody.

• A good idea would be a private thread for each person, a thread that contains all of the posts made by him or her. To me its somewhat time consuming to flip though subforums or do the search feature to find my posts and check on them.
• It would be a good idea to have a date when the thread was posted, along with when the last time someone posted was... This will help keep things in order without having to open the thread and check the dates.
• Below the avator, along with country, location, and such... should be a spot for your name. I would feel a little more comfortable knowing the name of the person I am dealing with, instead of just a user name.
• a live section on the front homepage that features certain names for sale, or perhaps auctions, along with prices and user name of the seller. Featured listings could cost money, and it could be an extra source of income for the forum.
• Language translation software integrated into the forum may be of use to folks living outside the united states, and may help eliminate confusion though translations. It may even be of help to have a human translation team of some sort. It may help bring more people from diffrent parts of the world who arnt so great with speaking english.
• live chatroom or modulator help would help a lot, often times when I get on to do work at 2 or 3 AM EST. there is noone in the chat room. It may help to integrate a live help service or chat to help people with problems or questions they may have.
• enable the ability to check pm's and possibly posts via mobile phone. It would be a very handy feature.

A good ole DNF party poker/casino! Nice idea, it would decrease the value of DNF though unless you play against other people and win their DNF and have no added extra DNF to decrease the value.

Well, i mean, you can win at the casino, but also lose your dnf, that would not decrease the value of dnf, as it will not be "dnf for nothing", you wouldn't play undefinitely if you could lose all your dnf.

playing against other people would be fantastic and very funny.

Simple :

a "Search domain box" for Whois Informations. It's basic... but for a forums about domain names, it seems pretty obvious.

Well it is not really a feature but the place could really use a make over. Nearly 1/2 of the screen is wasted on a huge dn banner and confusing navigation system. Make something cleaner and that would be a real benefit.

Some people find the position of "donate f$" very confusing so its purpose would be more obvious if it was next to the f$ account instead of where it is now.

Most forums I am a member of have instant notification to subscribed threads just as we do here. We are in an age of wireless push email. I for one own a Blackberry and I am sure others on the forum own a/or similiar device. I receive responses on threads I have subscribed to instantly anywhere and anytime. Great for a junkie like me. What would be great would be the ability to reply and participate in a subscribed thread by just replying to the post received via wireless email. I am not sure what this technology is but I do know you can do it on Blogger and it is great. -DCG- you can make it so, by your command. Would also be a great feature for moderators and admins, IMO
