1000 F$ for forum features!

1000 F$ for anyone can find some new feature we can add that would benefit the users.

You will need to look at a bunch of vbulletin boards, domain and non domain related to try and find something new we can integrate with dnforum.

I don't care if I have to buy software but it must have some way to be integrated with vbulletin. I will even pay the person that designed it money to integrate in.

My goal here is to add lots of new features for the members.

Similar to subscribing to a thread but subscribing to a member instead. Some members I notice have a good collection of domains and they sell at reasonable prices and I hate to miss their threads when I'm not paying attention to the sale section. Late bird gets no worm.

What about new post notification if it matches certain strings? I do not belive their is a mod for this yet anywhere, however it would be very easy to code into vBulletin for it.

I miss the weekly live auctions we use to have a few years back. I for one would love to see those return.

I have tons of ideas in regards to running these live auctions and theories at to why it ultimately failed before. I would be happy to discuss these further with you via MSN and/or be actively involved with the running of these auctions.

I like the personal sticky, cause its a terror searching through the fixed offer board, having the ability to pop a thread to the top of the list would make it alot easier to monitor an auction or domains your interested in buying

Online store. A simple link can be easily put in users profile, or just under the username, where user can name their store, and include in all domains for sale, prices, etc.

Also ,too many good features may lead to delay in a user performance per post so simplicity a must in every feature.

• A good idea would be a private thread for each person, a thread that contains all of the posts made by him or her. To me its somewhat time consuming to flip though subforums or do the search feature to find my posts and check on them.
• It would be a good idea to have a date when the thread was posted, along with when the last time someone posted was... This will help keep things in order without having to open the thread and check the dates.
• Below the avator, along with country, location, and such... should be a spot for your name. I would feel a little more comfortable knowing the name of the person I am dealing with, instead of just a user name.
• a live section on the front homepage that features certain names for sale, or perhaps auctions, along with prices and user name of the seller. Featured listings could cost money, and it could be an extra source of income for the forum.
• Language translation software integrated into the forum may be of use to folks living outside the united states, and may help eliminate confusion though translations. It may even be of help to have a human translation team of some sort. It may help bring more people from diffrent parts of the world who arnt so great with speaking english.
• live chatroom or modulator help would help a lot, often times when I get on to do work at 2 or 3 AM EST. there is noone in the chat room. It may help to integrate a live help service or chat to help people with problems or questions they may have.
• enable the ability to check pm's and possibly posts via mobile phone. It would be a very handy feature.
