Bury or hide some real treasure, and sell maps or clues to people.

Quite obviously it should be a shopping portal. It will be the smartest most practical way of using the name. Revenue/Commission will be made on each customer referred by your site.
how about like a direction give site so you can find things like shops and restrtaunts
Hi
You could target kids and have different themes and difficulty levels on the site from basic thing like find something hidden in a picture "where's wally "to more advance find solutions for problems (Ex a short crime story with hidden hints to who is guilty) this type of site could grow continuously, and you could trade links with very different sites, (Ex pages with maps idea is to find country or state or city, trade links with geography sites) (find solution links with math sites) the possibilities are endless with good content every type of educational site may trade links with you, it's a lot of work to build this site but you don't have to do it all at once, it can be built by section, and the best part you can fill it with games ads (good ctr).
Hope youfind.com a better idea lol
I would like to suggest, creating a niche site that allows people who have lost something to list their wish to have it found for a reward.
The rewards can be money, trade or anything they would like to offer for information leading to or the actual return of their lost interest.
Pets, cars, personal items, people, unusual requests- let the people decide what is important and wishful to find.
Allow the platform to take shape from the people that find it when they cling to the hope of throwing it out there to chance and will.
Lets face it, it would be like throwing an impossible wish for something you have all but given up hope on......but someone reads the message....talks to someone ...who talks to someone they know....pay it forward.
There needs to be more good and useful things for people to connect and help other people online, not just more copies of existing businesses.
Think of the wonderful success stories that could come of it.

Thanks Guys! More ideas are welcome!

Online domain trivia for domainers only with daily prizes.
a) An auction site of some sorts but it might be too hard to compete with eBay.
b) People looking for information on certain topics and others come to answer for a fee. (You Find the answer)
c) Social Bookmarking
d) community news site where users post news that is happening in their area. Cities are seperated by sub domain. example: http://tampa.youfind.com
Any more thoughts?
thanks,
set up a php script, thats allows for contestants that sign up search the internet for clues.
maybe adsense on your pages, may get more clicks, dont know if this is allowed.
I think there a massive following already, thinks its called easter egging or somthing.
a place for people to place wanted adds, could be like domains wanted section here but for everything under the sun, cars, property domains etc. then people who want to make money online find stuff for sale and submit them to the want adds, problem is payment and transfer of monies etc logistics would be a nightmare. if the honor system would work ,you might have a decent forum
good luck

How about a SEARCH ENGINE? Find everything you want.
This contest will end tomorrow as announced.
thanks,
how about nice matchmaking kind site? You can easy promote it. it Finds you real partners...
I always wanted to make a website for people seeking stuff: a kind of eBay but in a reverse mode. People seeking something could put it on an ad and you or people meet the requirements. Like "i'm looking for an old sofa, english style for less than $300", or "looking for the Strange comics magazine number 598". System is currently working as "Want it Now" section of eBay. Maybe improving that system would be a great idea... Maybe having a community of people specialized in decoration, some in litterature, etc, etc...
...and the winner is... ?
