An Appology & Question about 3 letter .COM's with 2- Dashes

First off, I apologize to anyone who I ticked off a few days ago (thread has been deleted) & all I can say is I overreacted and am sorry for my behavior. No excuses but I just don't want to rehash it either, other then say, it won't occur again, I was out of line.

Moving on, can someone tell me if buying 3 letter domain names separated by 2 Dashes that are not DOt Com, like M-O-M.Net, org, info & TV are a worthwhile investment at the basic registration cost for the purpose of "flipping" right away or within 2 years without a website, or is this a waste of money. Assume that the 3 letters do form a real word or a well known acronym? Would appreciate your advice. I don't own any of these type of domain names right now.

The good thing at least from my last post's reaction was that it got me off my butt and I just got my first ecommerce website running,
www.2008Software.com I still have to change some wording on the buttons & make a few minor changes on the navigation & coloring & on my computer while the top row of buttons work on Internet Explorer they don't seem to work on Firefox (Not sure if its my settings), but its 95% complete. I have each year for the next 6 years except 2010. If anyone wants to do the same concept with 2009products.com & 2011products.com, let me know as I'll be willing to sell those names at what I consider to be a reasonable price.
