| Multiplayer Game-Site Development
Is there anyone familiar with multip-player game site development?
I am interested in getting information concerning setting up a multi-player game environment.
Games should include the standard like:
Backgammon, Chess, Checkers, Othello, etc.
I found that there is a Backgammon called Fibs, and other servers, most of which use client software.
I am interested in something, where there are no download-able software, all the games are played online.
I am also interested in game rooms, with on-line chat etc.
I found something called Electro-Server, which apparently fills this purpose.
I am very not knowledgable about these topics, and would like to get some detailed info, if anyone can help.
Please assume that I know nothing, since I would like as much info, from the very basics. |
