The first weekly domain sales report of 2009 is out at DNJournal.com. The New Year holiday shortened the work week considerably so overall volume was understandably light, but there were still some very solid individual sales, led by a $167,500 bell ringer at Sedo.com. Sedo wound up sweeping the top three spots on our new Top 20 chart and piled up 10 of the 20 chart entries. Their list included a $57,000 German country code sale, one of eight ccTLDs on the all extension leader board as the country codes got off to a great start in 2009.
We also saw a wave of completed sales from Aftermarket.com’s live auction at T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Down Under and five of those names earned spots on the Big Board. You can get all of the details here:
