Any variety of flu can kill anyone. It's just a numbers game. The point is that H1N1 is no more "deadly" than any other variety of influenza, which kills millions of people every year, media hype or not. You get tired, you spend a lot of time in bed, you don't realize that fluid is building up in your lungs and then, boom, you are dead from pneumonia - which is not a particularly horrific way to check out, among the various options.
I strongly agree with the proposition that people should no more take medical advice from DNForum than legal advice.
