It's not really about being seasonal or not. These domains would NOT sell for much IF they're only used for popcorn or snow related products or services. A good sale should come from them being BRANDED, as in popcorn for movies or snow for beer. The difference between them however lies in that the former renders a positive imagery (happy, excitement, gathering) to most people, while the latter is often associated with WINTER, cold, lonely, etc. Like I said, it's all about CONNOTATION.
