| I started my first business when I was 13 -- so I very well know the itch that teen entrepreneurs have to be given the same opportunities as the older entrepreneurs. However, another aspect to think over is that people younger than 18 can NOT get into legal-contracts.
Since we are a business forum, we would probably be encouraging illegal dealings or really complex situations -- as mikedee pointed out above -- if the member does not disclose his age and gets into contact without the consent of an adult. So, as much as I would hate to vote to allow teen entrepreneurs, I'd vote against it seeing our specific situation. |
