| You as reseller, you can manage your retail (customer) account. Meaning you can help them for renewal,registration/transfer or change DNS information, if they want to.
You as reseller, with sub-reseller. You have no control to their retail customer. Only your sub-reseller can manage his/her own customers, to avoid conflict of interest.
