I think 18 months is more than enough. I be happy with 3 months referal.
Being a domain owner I have my expenses to pay so I want that I should get the highest % out of my earnings.
Keep in mind DS has to pay the referal money.....they do not pay out of their pocket...ultimately its your referal's domains that pay it.
In order to survive and compete with other ppc companies AND in order to keep their partners happy by passing the savings on to them in the form of increased payouts, DS need to do it.
