| Re: Site sues Google over search rankings Part of me likes this, but really I think it's one of the dumbest lawsuits I've heard of. It would be nice if Google had to explain why they dropped your position, HOWEVER, it's their site, their service, and their rules. Free speech constitutes that you are speaking in a place that you have access to. By not being on the first page of search results, this has nothing to do with Google violating your free speech.
Sure you get less traffic, but are they PAYING Google for their position? I doubt it. Hence, they can't sue Google for damages.
I don't even know why this is news at all. There are things that I don't like about Google either, but I have to side with them on this one.
