Well, this was a real problem some years ago.

People were using this method to get their competition banned from the engines, but it is a problem google is well aware off, and nowadays I doubt it will cause you any problems, as google knows you are the creator (obviously your content was "up there" first, else he couldn't have copied it - Yes, i'm smart).

As for yahoo and msn, I don't know. They aren't as sophisticated as google, so scammers might still be able to trick em.
