I *just* signed up for the service so I guess it is too early to compare notes regarding their "up" time etc. However, I could try and offer some insight from my other hosting accounts with various companies, from very expensive to almost free.
IMO, 83.% uptime is typical and not bad for a newcommer (am I wrong to assume that styleproject is a fairly new venture?). My Racksack does slightly better but it costs more too ;-) More expensive, dedicated servers are close to 99% but ther eis no such thing as 100% uptime IMO.
If I may add my 2 cents, I would use this free hosting package for a site not as important to you and your customers until the details are ironed out
