Of course, we're all just guessing here based on what we know.

If the court order specifically says to lock the domain name, then the registrar
is obliged to do upon receipt of it. That's meant to prevent changing ownership
or transferring the domain name to a non-US-based registrar.

Now I just noticed the domain name's last updated date is October 20, 2006. I
looked it up at VeriSign and it says the same.

I also tried checking it via the registrar's WHOIS in case it might be different. I
got a 404, unless someone can directly query their WHOIS server.

Also, its status isn't on REGISTRAR-HOLD or similar. Typically it's on hold if it's
involved in a legal dispute, but it's still showing locked and so on.

Anyway, we'll probably know more in the next couple of days what's going on.
