| No way I would ever paypal 3k to someone I dont know. Plus I always call the owner on the whois, turns out he lives near me as well. He knew nothing of it been for sale.
I purchased olive.com on sedo one time for 3k was a total scam but figured it out before I paid sedo by talking to the original owner of olive.com. I used wayback and found the cache of what the site was and called the real owner. He was devastated. His account was hacked and domain stolen. It was his entire business. So between sedo, the hosting company, the real owner and his lawyer we got the name back. I actually paid the 3k to sedo and we made the guy think the sale was happening and that gave time to get the name back into the real owners hands, then sedo gave my money back. The real owner even send me a reward, nice guy! |
