| I'd think that depends a lot of your copy. With adwords you can specify it exactly per keyword, with natural serps results google will show a snipet of what it thinks is most relevant. Also I think it depends on how internet savvy your search audience is. Are they ad-blind or noobs that dont even see the difference between ads and organic serps.
