| Yes, the earth has gone thru many periods of warming and cooling/freezing that has totally changed our world from time to time. Climate science research has found that each time the earth warmed co2 was present in the atmosphere in large quantity. This period of warming over the last 150 years or so is different in that the scientists can actually see and measure the excessive build-up of co2 and other greenhouse gases as its being produced by mankind. The continued and steady accumulation of excessive GHG in our thin shell atmosphere in large quantity has been proven and undisputed by any scientific study.
It's widely accepted and agreed by the vast majority of the world's most respected and foremost scientists that unless this is halted or at least harnessed to a great extent our world will be disastrously changed in less than 100 years. We cannot sit idly by and let this continue to happen.
In other words by doing nothing we are cooperating with and allowing our one and only beautiful planet to be destroyed by the greedy fossil fuel individuals, organizations, and governmental leaders who would put their monetary welfare ahead of everything else. We MUST speak out against this and STOP destroying our planet. |
