| just a theory here, but why don't u try ... encoding to FLV and using amazons s3 storage which allows for session tokens, lock u'r site down to member authentication then sniff the http headers to block the flv downloader apps / sites ... ?
another approach is to just suck it up that content will be downloaded and instead of wasting time otherwise just encode a promo / url as an overlay onto the video and treat it as a marketing expense |
