Typos should be fine anywhere, TM's and TM typos will have issues.

example:

giraffe is generic
girafe is a generic typo
microsoft is a TM
mikrosoft is a TM typo

Pretty soon all PPC companies will outlaw TM and TM typos.

This has already started.
