Re: 70+ Established sites, Fan, Amazon, Niche, etc. - some PR5 incl. ipoddropship.com

sold vbaseball.com
Thanks! I've PMed you payment and other details

Details requested and also supplied by PM
  • leftbehindbooks.com
    • Income:
      • Amazon: 2005 Q4 (there were sales before this too, ask if you want this), 2006 Q1, 2006 Q2
      • Adsense: (May 23, 2005 - to date) = $37.68
      • Other affiliates: I will have to check
    • Stats: http://leftbehindbooks.com/axs/ax-admin.pl / 2005 uniques (May - Dec): 1921 / 2006 uniques to date: 1676 (Awstats screenshots available on request). Very targeted traffic.
    • Pages indexed: Google = 38 / MSN = 419 (#2 for "left behind books") / Yahoo = 1,440 (#10 for "left behind books")
  • thatfreebiesite.com (have only had this site since 2006-02-22)
  • ipoddropship.com (only started this site circa 2006-03-28, but was inactive and linked to long before then)
  • mummymania.com
    • stats: http://mummymania.com/axs/ax-admin.pl (can give Awstats screenshots if required) / well indexed / high rankings for target keywords/phrases
    • revenue: $28.02 with Adsense (since August 4, 2005) / Amazon: at least two book sale / other revenue (tickets, etc.): will have to check
  • skye.cc - I started this site in about Oct 2004. Did everything and added loads of content, but thereafter never really promoted or monetized it well due to time constraints. But still managed to get good rankings (also in DMOZ). You could probably do much better with more Adsense ads (initially I only had one small text ad, then about a year later added the one at the top). I've never updated the site, so a lot of content is a bit outdated. Many pictures in the Gallery. This site is ideal for a dedicated Skye fan who wants to build and improve on what I've done and create a great community.
    • stats: http://skye.cc/axs/ax-admin.pl (only since 2005-09-21, as the log file had to be deleted because it got too big) / Awstats - 2006: 10864 uniques to date, 2005: 34559 uniques, 2004: 4835 uniques (since Oct 2004) (can give Awstats screenshots if required) / well indexed / high rankings for target keywords/phrases
    • revenue: $55.15 with Adsense (since October 5, 2004) / Amazon: some sales / other revenue (tickets, etc.): will have to check the details, but there were some sales. I also sold some of the self-made CDs, but stopped taking orders due to time and copyright considerations.
    • Disk usage: 144.91 MB
    • 744 users (signups almost daily). These users could easily be channelled into an own forum (at the moment I just frame the official Skye forum) - you could add a forum to Mambo and they'd be signed up already!

Also, let me just say, there was a dip in traffic for most sites when I moved over to a new server recently. Some sites were moved almost immediately, some took a while (I had a few hundred to do!).

As requested:
  • elvisfansite.com
    • premium name, nice design
    • stats: http://elvisfansite.com/cgi-bin/axs/ax-admin.pl (since 2005-09-25, but not entirely accurate as it hasn't been tracking since I moved the site to a new server - just fixed it) / Awstats screenshots here of the following:
      • 2005 (Sep - Dec)
      • 2006 to date
      • 2006 March search engine referrers
      • 2006 March site referrers
      • 2006 March search keyphrases
      • 2006 March search keywords
    • well indexed / high rankings for target keywords/phrases
    • revenue: $8.86 with Adsense (since October 6, 2005) / Amazon: no Elvis specific items I could find, although there have been other music and related sales that could've been from this site (hard to tell)
    • members: 10

freegolfarticles.com:
  • Premium generic name
  • Runs on great free article CMS with easy backend, RSS feeds, etc.
  • Well-indexed: Google = 169 pages / MSN = 53 pages / Yahoo = 400 pages / several backlinks
  • Stats: 328 uniques for 2006 so far (Awstats screenshots available on request) / hundreds of articles / extra content added (e.g. "Disk Golf", etc.) / two article submissions by new writers
  • Revenue: $1.14 with Adsense (since February 28, 2006) / Amazon: I honestly don't know - can't find any "golf specific" items, but then, many people end up buying something else after clicking on your site. I don't track Amazon sales per site, and I have many AWS shops / similarly, can't say with Clickbank - I've made sales from all my sites, but cannot accurately track them to the originating site / other affiliates: will have to check

starwarsblog.net:
  • Nice concept. Runs on great opensource CMS, Joomla. Everything for a Star Wars community is already in place to get you started, but you can easily add additional components and features (see http://extensions.joomla.org)
  • Well-indexed: Google = 44 pages / MSN = 103 pages / Yahoo = 30 pages / about 2000 backlinks in all search engines combined
  • This is still a young site that needs to be grown and promoted - I haven't had the time. Stats: http://starwarsblog.net/axs/ax-admin.pl (since 2006-01-24) / Awstats: 213 uniques/15337 hits for 2006 so far (Awstats screenshots available on request) / there was a lapse in stats tracking when I moved the site about a month ago
  • revenue: $0.07 with Adsense (since March 4, 2006) / Amazon: I honestly don't know for sure - there have been "Star Wars" sales, but I don't track Amazon sales per site, and I have many Star Wars sites and AWS shops / similarly, can't say with accuracy about the other affiliates, starwars.com and entertainmentearth.com - I've made sales, but cannot accurately track them to the originating site
