bc consumers search
primarily .ca and .com, because this is their market
as well as quebec consumers
(not .fr, even though they speak french)

they are not based in china
they have no chinese address
(and brad johnson is not a chinese name)
even hong kong uses its own tld
(and they also speak chinese)
of course it is "fine" to register any tld
but from the marketing point it is not
