| I started by hand-regging domains too. My portfolio is very small (20+).
A portion of these domains are actually well used. I will drop the worst ones and develop or try to sell the others.
I learned that handregging domains is not the way to go unless you are very lucky and the first one to register like when you know about a new trend, something in the news etc...
It was a cheap lesson and am still learning everyday. I have changed my strategy and look forward to invest in premium domains.
Another thing I noticed that it is better to go for it completely. I registered here at DNF about 2 years ago but after a while went idle. I regret that I lost all this time but fortunately enough continued.
