I think it is best when you do the test, here as you might be the only person you can trust and we wouldn't know how to do the properly.
Read the chinese domain forums, and tell me how many sales you see there of .mobi and tell me which top 1000 chinese company uses .mobi in the advertisement. I like to see how an american domainer influences the chinese consumers.
I have enough preorders from them, they also bought plenty of .com.cm has they do have chinese traffic.
btw. I was telling my friends about this thread and your view on the chinese market, they had a good laugh, and no they are not domainers.
