Re: Developed mobis............

If this is repetitive, I'm sorry...but so be it.

WEIWEI.MOBI An awesome site featuring the music of Wei Wei, a very poplular Chinese singer and loaded with pre-olympics hype. Nice overlay and graphics.
Cabbies.mobi Another I wish I owned. Find a taxi cab in the UK, USA, or Canada
EuroMETEO.mobi Weather forecasts for Europe including satellite images. WHOA!
ToBet.mobi Online sports betting site for Horse Racing, American Football, Austrailian Footbal, Baseball, Cricket, Elections (no kidding!!!) and any other way to take your money!
kicker.mobi I want this site and name so bad it hurts!!!

(Edited to take out several already posted)

Interesting.
Wow, those are fighting words on some forums.

I was skeptical initially having been burned on .eu. Actually, I was skeptical on anything new after that fiasco.

The forums educated me to an extent. But I have to give credit to myself for doing my own research and study on this subject. The reason I mention this is to agree or not is one thing, but being informed to make an educated decision (let alone a comment for or against) is crucial.

I now feel like I am part of a new frontier not only in domaining but in telecommunications and the way people access the internet.

I am thoroughly convinced that the .com and .mobi will co-exist as there is a need and a place for both of them. I don't understand why this is such a difficult concept to grasp.

I find it even more amazing that there are so many ready to crucify this extension even in it's infancy. I have not seen such an extension come along so fast and in such ways to actually make me excited about being part of the domaining world. Not just from a domain owner's point of view but from a domainer with the intent on developing.

Am I going to abandon everything and dump all my portfolio for this? Not a chance. I am even more diversified.

Now if I can just find someone to take my Cisco stock off my hands for what I paid for it and someone to take my .eu domains, I'd be tickled!
