I love it
It is the start of the end of microsoft
This browser treats web pages exactly like applications
It speeds up the free online word , calc , email and photo software
To the user, the internet becomes seamless with their other PC actvities
No need to make that consciouss decision, I will now stop doing whatever and go on the internet
The user is already on the net, working away at whatever and then can do a search on their own computer or on the net or type a URL all through the same place ( the old URL box)
It is open source so expect many applications
It is using a new open source V8 Java
When Google introduces an operating system for the masses shortly, Microsoft will be plummet
Compare:
One company speeds things up and makes thing simpler
The other slows everything , increases complexity, and then pays Jerry for an ad campaign hoping that will fix everything
Vista business is the straw that broke the back on MS
MS has alienated millions of users
Chrome will bring more internet use by seamless integration with on line applications
Web sites will get more repeat traffic because the in built suggestion tool incudes previously visited sites

All that is just my humble opinion

Here are the drawbacks I have found using chrome

Typo domains will get less traffic
There is no way to sort bookmarks other than drag and drop
There is no way to remove or amend headers and footers on web page prints
Text zoom can't be saved for future sessions
Just one folder of bookmarks cannot be all opened. It is all bookmarks or nothing
8 lines of a post at dnforum can be read without opening the post
