What i meant by 'left in circulation' was how many 2 letter .org domains are available to the public to either use or buy. As we know the mathematics say there could only be 676 of them in total (26 x 26 = 676) at the beginning. As you may also know, certain domain names are to be reserved per ICANN’s directive. The domain names listed there, including all one-character and two-character domains, are reserved “from initial (i.e., other than renewal) registration within the TLD.” In other words, should any of those previously registered domain names be allowed to expire, or if they are deleted, they will be placed on reserved status and will NOT be made available to the public for registration again.

So put this way, does anyone know how many 2 letter .orgs are being held back by the registry including expired, which would leave the total available or left in circulation.
