I must be confuse, can you tell me what means caretakers in english? Is a person who is hired to take care of something (property or a person)?
Yes. you are correct.

If it's that we can say "encarregado" or "guarda", if is a person (child) we say "ama". But it's difficult to find a word - word translation, right now I can't see a word that defines that... here we have a word for particular cases... doesn't really exist a word in portuguese to say "caretaker".
Yeah. I looked up both terms and they have an ovt of 1483 for encarregado. and 90 for guardas.

Please, tell me what you want to say with "caretaker" to see if I can help you... =)
Yeah. I thought it to mean caretaker of a person or thing. But it looks to me know that it does in fact mean "caretaker" of an adult thing.

So, in Brazil it means housewife... in portueguse is different... here means something that is made in home. Ex: The food that you make in home -> Comida Caseira. (Where "comida" means food).
I understand now that the word alone means something pertaining to adult activity. Where as the word in a phrase pertains to other things. Is that correct?

Well, a lot of research were made to do this... lol (it wasn't easy.. eheh)
Hope that helps you.

Yeah it does I know what genre I should be targetting now. I really thank you for doing that to help.

If the mods feel that they need to move this then feel free. As it was an unintentional adult oriented word. Thanks.
