Call the police in the city where these clowns live and file a formal complaint for fraud.
8.5k is a lot of money in some parts of India and the cops should take a keen interest in it.
Oh yeah .. The cops are not know to go exactly 'by the book' and so a world of hurtin may be on the way for these assholes.
I can assure you, the last thing these guys want is a truck load of cops tooled up with lathis coming round to ask questions .. what do you think of that solution Prateek?
