This may be too little too late Adam, but I have been happy with TinyPortal. It installs over SMF (forum) but totally takes over the look and feel of the site. Both are freeware with lots of different skins.
I like the modules that are available, but then I am not what you would call a big developer either. It's just another option that nobody else here has mentioned yet. |
