| Re: WIPO Owned by Jeffrey E. Kubiak In 2001, not many people were aware of the WIPO or UDRP procedures. Even Yun Ye seemed to be quite helpless with his extremely weak arguement in the case where a furniture company who held Traditions trademark brought him to the table. Ultimately, traditions.com was taken away from him even though the page did not even resolve. In fact, the complainant used the non-resolving nature as a proof of bad faith, and, unfortunately, the stupid panel decided it was true (WTF!!). The whole WIPO looks to me is more like a free weapon that listens to whoever crys out loud. They do NOT examine the facts. I guess if William Shakespeare is alive nowadays, he would be the sole owner of all generic premium domains as pretty much no one will beat him.
I think those disputed names have been locked up and were due to release last week. However, Afilias held them again for some reason.
Now the question is, have those hijackers been taken down? |
