Re: While Bush plays in Iraq, our neihbor Mexico descends into turmoil

I hate being in the position of defending any politician, but the attacks on Bush are so meanspirited.

Having reports that Bin Laden planned to attack inside the US is not the same as knowing about the attacks before hand. Everyone knew Bin Laden planned to attack inside the US.

Because he remained in place for 7 minutes after learning of the attacks does not mean his team was not working. Of course they were working and they were sending him information from the back of the room. It said Hold tight until we know more.

Making a decision to act on a belief that was widely held by intellegence agencies around the world does not make him a liar.

Using debt is not in itself a bad thing. Any CEO knows that. Particularly when interest rates are at historical lows.

If Bush would have been fired as CEO, so too would Franklin Roosevelt during WWII. His party got beat badly in mid-term elections. Clinton's party got beat badly in mid-term elections.

But if you want to take over Mexico, I'm with you.
