I would echo the support for myid.ca
Escrow does a good job, but the buyer loses at least 3% with currency conversions, and the seller loses another 3%.
With a corp. buyer, you should be okay...
pm sent
you're welcome.
.
Available at domainer pricing (but not a giveaway).
PM or email if interested.
(hit.ca had an offer of 6500 in old myid auction)
(payment by email transfer)
Enough "flight network" typos for Byron and his buds to keep their junkets going.
.
Sorry, that's what I'm trying to say.
CIRA should institute a PERMANENT wholesale rate of 5 or 6 $ (instead of 8) for the registrars for NEW reg's.
Then, Joe the Plumber can evaluate his new .ca...
It's not difficult to find deals all over the place for 1st year reg. of .com's. (.50 for 1 domain at register.com - $1. at many others)
CIRA should consider offering a PERMANENT discount for the...
My sentiments.
Very sore eyes - for a lot of nothing.
I'm sure the CIRA junket team appreciated whoever spent however many K on the typos.
maritimemortgage.ca
we'd need to talk about value
In addition to eggs.ca, saw an ad for eggs.mb.ca (don't get me going, CIRA braintrust)
There is also:
chicken.ca
meubles.ca [ ;) ] , francais for furniture
anyone NOT receive a "transfer away" or renewal notification over the last 1.5 days?
The problem with dentists is that, although they spend 7 years post-secondary, it's not MBA classes.
The new dentists don't have the budget, and the experienced dentists don't see the need.
Most...

One might say it's a bit of an "arse" week.
This all goes back to the Privacy change a few years ago. As I've posted many times, these changes were only championed by lawyers - why? The answer is obvious.
No one can post a malicious, libelous...
Anyone else notice the whois change at CIRA.
You can no longer see the popularity of a keyword by just entering the keyword in the whois search box.
( You could previously type in "seo" and the...
What brings the value to 420 ?
They resolve for us - on Shaw.
We have, as part of our purging, dropped a number of exclusively prov. domains, and yes, once they're dropped, they're converted to 2nd-level in the TBR (eg. we dropped imat.on.ca, which was picked...
It's going to be a VERY MINOR blip on the radar, IMO.
We have dropped over 400 names in the past year, many of which we certainly would have kept if there were a permanent $4.00 wholesale reduction....
Why is this CIRA promo not on CIRA's home-page?
Would that not have a much bigger impact on the experiment?
I have my wife's and 2 daughter's .ca's, and, at this point, it doesn't mean that much to them.
I think everyone is mentally disabled except for domainers.
If it's a Cdn buyer (which it should be if it's a .ca), I would heartily recommend myid.ca/escrow
I used them for the first time this year. Was very happy.
Their escrow fee is much cheaper (which...
Also, not renewing:
1realty.ca
onerealty.ca
aroundthehome.ca

So, does 4.1(d) mean that the registrant of this thread ( http://www.dnforum.com/f510/domain-ownership-question-someone-wants-their-domain-back-thread-452202.html ) should have reported the email to...
Can you give an idea of what you'll do with occupied ?
(The last price that I saw for dental pre-auction was 700, so I'm assuming occupied cost more than that, right? So, there must be a plan of...
It's pretty easy to check a TM, guys.

If you bug CIRA support unnecessarily, they'll push the wholesale rate to 12.00 (Ahh,...
Anyone else seeing the SerenityRanch.ca google ad (the addiction posts). That's cute.
It could be.
When one could check who picked up names, I would ask them if they were on the forum.
It gets frustrating trying to hawk a domain here for $5., and watch someone then pay $60 to...
It's despicable what happens to these samll businesses.
You can see the drops in the .com's, but with the hidden whois in .ca's, you can't see what happens as much, but there's a lot of, if not...
I was, like, thinking that, you know, that this, you know
I TBR'd a nice medical domain 4 years ago. YPG had dropped it (nice domain maintenance for their client). Let them take it back for upper xxx. One year later, they dropped it again.
I have always despised the way YPG treats naive small-businesses, by regging the domain under their control, and then bundling their print, website, domain, and telephone. If the business changes...

I need better eyeglassas from reading the list.;)
what about furnace
I've always felt that a excellent strategy would be to:
1. optimize a .ca for the California market
2. trademark the domain ($250 + $200, self-serve), good for 15 years before renewal
3. sell the...
