If the domain is not the person's property to own, then they are not authorized to sell property they don't own.
Don't get me wrong...I think most of us fall into this category of some (ahem)...
Q: Are sellers forced to disclose a TM exists on a domain ?
A: No, just like a car thief does not have to disclose the car he is selling is a stolen automobile.
Thank you everyone for your submissions. I have found one definite.
There are a couple others I am contemplating (I believe I have already communicated this to the owners).
I was surprised by this sale and sale price.
I have to agree with the others regarding difficulty to valuate.
Even though it might be a recognizable word it would be outdated and outmoded.
However, I think this would be a great name...
6 threads opened and still running on the same name??? :?:
yeah, almost 6 figures
Absolutely appears to be some folks weeding out their portfolios.
Message sent seven years ago finally making it to the forum.
Dial-up sucks.
Please don't assume that you speak for me or on my behalf.
And please don't allow others to assume that you speak for me.
It is quite spelled out in my first sentence.
The better question would have been...
Everyone raise your hand if you had heard about .io.
What's next? ao. po. scs
Thank you!
I have received quite a few names from several members. Will continue to review and consider all the lists.
Hard to find one that I absolutely must have. So please keep the names...
um...I meant weak, not week. Must be heet, I mean heat stroke.
Yes, a week tld. But both are keyword gems in any gTLD. I am looking at both sales and seriously very each as undersold at those prices. I had no idea tax was even on the market let alone at auction....
Do you work for axsiom? Because I am getting spam email from you.
In theory I agree. In practice I disagree.
May 2013 has been back-to-back the largest sales for me in all the years of domaining. And 2013 already has been the most profitable year for me.

Interested in Texas related domains.
Prefer .com but will look at premium net and org
As for non dot com...if you don't know what premium is - don't send it.

I am curious to see that if the 9th bid meets reserve to coincide with this thread
For those domains for flipping...unreal expectations to think that you can rapidly register hundreds of domains and sell them all.
What to do with those that don't sell? First thing you have to...
what is or what is the definition of "above end-user selling price"?
I knew the emails that I was getting was from a native non-speaker but had no idea it was originating in india.
Then again, this one should have tipped me off: pravinkumar7700@gmail.com
I am not sure of its value because you need to find the right buyer where "lob" is significant. Think of all the sports (ala tennis) where lob is an active part of the game and strategy. Great name....
I am dealing with a major end user right now on closing a sale. The initial offers were too low (and he knew it). I ended up giving him a "ballpark range" and simply told him to meet me there.

The most reliable metric is common sense.
You mention easily brandable and a catchphrase.
I can not see it being easily brandable. And if you are thinking of this being a catch phrase like "Just Do It", well...that's another problem.

Wow. CookingLessons.com for $16,000 is an incredible bargain for the buyer.
I once bought a large antique early 1800's flatback cupboard.
I had to go back and get my truck to haul it home.
When I returned to the shop, I could not locate the piece. I thought it was on...
Oh, yeah, well...I'm in the process of negotiating a 5 figure sale with a reseller.
Problem is, his 5 figures included a decimal point followed by two zeros (.00).
Come to think of it, the...
Not implying one bit that I was judging (or you were judging). Simply stating matters in a "matter of fact" manner. And sorry you took it any differently.
Inaction (or inactivity) is a pretty...
Cut the BS and post the particulars about this person so everyone can be aware of this person.
If you get no response, then most people are most likely to not think very much of the name. Therefore, no interest in buying.
Yes people buy. Yes people sell.
If you don't sell something,...
Great read. Interesting indeed (as well as curious).
I agree with biggie on this one. Holding steadfast (and quiet) about the name essentially puts you in the advantage should they come knocking on the door. If it is a big corporation or this is a...
Please notice the offer price range "Considering Offers From"
Not interested in low ballers and offers lower/less the posted.
Thank you.
I have to agree with Mike on this matter in terms of the poster has now diminished his chances of employment by posting an anti-Semitic remark on, egad...Facebook?

Take me out to the ball game...soccer game that is as Houston takes on Colorado in an MLS game.

Sometimes in the very near future there will most likely be an end to this mindset. The internet does not have boundaries or borders. Digital goods are digital goods.

More great unpublished sales
Super sale and bargain for the new owner
Oddly enough, I don't know any struggling attorney's, have not seen any homeless or selling there BMW's and MB's, and have not seen any carrying signs on street corners.
Is the attorney's name Patty?
RUN!
I can only begin to guess how many times someone told me they are an attorney and they are not.

privacy...moniker...hmm. Wasn't there a story not too long ago regarding an employee at moniker snooping into someone's privacy? And when the breached party notified moniker nothing was done until...
the point to all of these responses is it (the point that the name was priced too high) and they (all the responses) are nothing more than one opinion vs. another.
there is really nothing more to...
Simply tell the potential buyer to find it elsewhere or, as Adam puts it...come back when they think it is worth it.
