I thought I saw justin.ca in a TBR, or listed for sale a while ago. Wonder how he got it?
My pages and sites are getting a lot of views coming from Abtasty.com, with IP in France. It looks like some sort of testing tool, but why would they be visiting so many of my pages. Anyone know of...
January and February this year were pretty good for inquiries/sales, but March and April have been really quiet.
Escrow.com always works well, does it need to be in Canadian $?
Usually my domains get added within 24 hrs or latest 48 hrs.
It looks ok, the letters are kind of fuzzy on the edges on my screen, could be a little sharper. Also would be nice to have some yellow in there, maybe try some different color schemes and...
I like it. Might want to try one of the words in a different color, or different colors for the letters, and see how it looks.
Also should create a small icon for the 't', or 'tg', like Facebook...
I've gotten this one about 7 times now, for the exact same domain. From the 'Backorder Team'.
In the past I've actually gotten some quality .com's for cheap this way, but most domains they send...
Ideas of price or ideas of what to do with the domain? I'll just give both.
My + keyword.com's sell quite regularly, usually in the x,xxx to low xx,xxx range. Newsletter is a good keyword.
It...
I remember girls playing ringette when I lived in Quebec, but after many years in BC I never hear of ringette. But there is a lot of girls hockey in BC. The market for ringette sticks must be a...
Well I am about 15% of the way to my 2013 target in domain sales so far. Inquiries are good but people don't want to pay up, or negotiate price much.
In today's DNJournal report, Hubert.ca sold at just under $9,000 - sold by ExcellentDomains. Congrats on the sale!
The domain is already forwarding to the new owner's .com site, it appears.
Has your site fully launched yet?
Always nice to read a story like this. I was wondering what the background was of the person who registered the domain. Like when a fan catches an historic home run baseball and gives it back to...
PopularHashtags.com
open to xxx/xxxx offers.
regged at Godaddy.
A 'popular' term for searching for hashtags. Hashtags are used on Twitter, Instagram, and news out today says Facebook will...
$4
do the terms of this auction meet the rules for the 1$ auction section?
I responded to them to make an offer. Will see what happens.
Based on what I've skimmed over, and assuming all tm issues etc are clear, I'd say somewhere in the 10k to 15k range minimum. Have each partner throw in 3k and be done with it. From your OP there...
Wow, OP was just this morning and already 45 replies!
I covered most of the real name, but the initials are FS. I thought someone would make this reference, but no it wasn't him - lol.
Must have been amazing to have an end user approach you with this deal and those figures, and present their plan to you. Truly amazing!
This came in last night from a gmail account. In the title was one of my domain names that is clearly related to satellite phones.
I'm guessing this might turn into a domain appraisal scam...
No six figure sales in the past three or four weeks.
Too bad the contactlenses.ca and f*ckbook.ca sales didn't make the cutoff, they would have finished in the top 10. I guess we'll see those...
Nice charts and info! If I had the tools to check for page rank, backlinks and Google popularity quickly on the TBR lists every week, I'd use them.
You should change your banner to read
domdom.ca
and not
dom
dom.ca
I first went to dom.ca to check your site, but it's a parked page. The way your banner reads might confuse people.
On the $100,000 end or closer to the $999,999 end?
What price do you think it could have gone to?
I guess some websites like to have their 'word' or 'term' in every decent domain extension, to show that they own their brand.
Another example of this is the Plenty of Fish dating site. They...
Any tm issues with it? Maybe you can post which domain it is after the TBR.
Didn't find much in my regular keyword searches for this week's TBR. Must be unlucky it's happening on the 13th.
Good time to be on spring break holiday.
I saw this sale come across at DNS, and it also came across at Sedo. Some nice .ca sales happening lately.

You'll sell it for higher in the future IMO.
Not my sale, but it shows up today in the DNS sale section as sold for $20 to $50K range. The domain forwards now to Lens.com. congrats to the seller.
If it is a first offer I'd counter for higher.
It is a short word/term that almost everyone who speaks english knows. Someone could come up for a good use for it in the future and be willing to...
I agree with that, although I at least get more starting offers of $250 to $1000 now.
Domains I've held for years with no action are now getting 'better' minimum offers, so the trend is getting...
Sold - pm me paypal info
Congrats, the DomainNames.ca site is looking really nice! Many great names on there.
Who was the buyer of cdnair?
Is Nancy here at DNF?
Just got this domain selling spam, first I get spammed about domains I've shown no interest in, then they ask for my help telling them where they might sell these domains. Like I have nothing better...
I didn't get any. Which registrar? At least their email system is working - lol.
That is so weird.
I bet Dior doesn't even know they dropped the domain! The story could get interesting.
Yes, he just updated his blog to that effect.
Was hoping it was a .ca!
toffee was the best one, I think.
I don't get bothered for too long by what I buy or sell a domain for. What do I care what people would say in a thread about my deals, there are probably reasons that are my own. If the price is...
Personally I like to know why some domains sell for the prices they do, especially if the price is way below or above the curve for similar type names. All this kind of info can help with future...
Google shows quite a few results using MQM in their name. Did the auction indicate any traffic or page rank on the domain? I've seen three letter .com's go for much less lately.
Surprising how often Godaddy does the $1.00 domain specials.
Congrats, do you ever test your domains outside Sedo, or are you all in with them?
