I have had the let down of buying a domain set at a buynow price, paying immediately in full and the domain owner backs out of the sale. Sedo cancelled the transaction. Very disappointing.

You are pretty much spot on. They cost about $7 per year at unforum.

However, I have become my own registrar and now they only cost about $4.50 compared to $7 per domain.
